Instructions

Input sequence(s) must be entered in FASTA format for processing. In addition to FASTA input, the OGPET algorithm can also process a single sequence in raw format.

The maximum number of input sequence(s) that can be processed by OGPET is dependent on available memory on the server. The current OGPET server can handle upto 200 input sequences in a single request. This number can vary (mostly increase) depending upon the amount of available memory. There is no limit on the length of each input sequence(s).

The input sequence(s) can be sent through the text box area or can be directly uploaded through a plain text file. After the input sequence(s) have been entered, the next step is to select the best prediction constraints for the model under study. For more information about prediction constraints, please refer to the biology behind this prediction approach available here. Finally, input sequences have to be sent for processing, and the program will display the results on a new webpage. All the results can be sent to the user's email, and will be stored on the server for a period of 7 days.
